Two new species of birds discovered in Nepal

Nepalese Ornithological Union and Nepal Rare Birds Committee have announced the discovery of two new species of birds in Nepal.The birds, Grey-necked Bunting and Long-billed Wren Babbler were sighted at Suklaphanta Wildlife Reserve and Makalu Barun National Park respectively.With the addition of two new species, the number of bird species found in Nepal has gone up to 867.
