Two Danish visitors Mr. Stefan Nielsen and Ms. Due Stine Pihl arrived to Nepal on January 9 through our exclusive country partner Kipling Travel. The next four days they explored the culturally and spiritually important historic valley Kathmandu on their own. They took the flight to Lasha from Kathmandu and continued their cultural sightseeing tour at Lasha. They boarded the train to Beijing after the exploration of Autonomous region of Tibet and as soon as they reached Beijing on January 19, 2012 as per the tour schedule the Danish visitors waved us a pleasant goodbye and went for a tour of China.
The full four days of exploration of Kathmandu valley is quite an enough time to explore around the major historical, religious and cultural sites within the valley. The valley itself is regarded as a sacred destination by Hindus and Buddhists. Numerous shrines and monuments and the deities and artistic displays within them are the major attractions. Culturally, Kathmandu is one of the richest and ancient cities of the world. The arty wooden, stone and metal figurines are the worthwhile watch.
Tibet is a sacred land 1000km from Kathmandu. The Roof of the world is the actual abode of great Dalai Lama. Large numbers of monasteries including Drepung and Sera and the majestic Potala Palace perfectly reflect the peaceful cultural practices and civilization of the Tibetans. Monks and nuns enchanting the holy Buddhist prayers in these monasteries arouse the sensational feeling of peacefulness. Tibet Tour is like touring the most peaceful corner of the world.
The tour was perfect and our visitors had floating moments throughout the cultural tour of Kathmandu and Tibet. They were overjoyed to have Explore Himalaya as their travel companion
