Theill Peter from Denmark was with us this spring. His fifteen days long vacation allocated for the Langtang Trek showed some wonderful sides whereas; the unfavorable weather forbade him to overcome the challenge of crossing the Laurebina La Pass. However, at the end of the trip the visitor from our exclusive country partner Kipling Travel-Mr. Theill was a very happy client.
Theill started his trekking on the 10th of April 2013. The weather was perfect till the 19th. During these days he explored the every possible highlighted sites of the area. He was at Kyanjin Gompa, he hiked to Tsergo Ri, he made his presence feel at the sacred Sing Gompa and also visited the origin of Trishuli River- Gosainkunda. On 20th as he was ready to trek through the Laurebina La Pass the heavy snowfall compelled him to end up the further journey. Whatsoever, the major portion of his Langtang Trek was already accomplished and so without any hard feelings he returned back to Dunche. From Dunche he boarded the bus back to Kathmandu and arrived to the capital earlier to his pre-scheduled itinerary. If he was able to cross the Laurebina La Pass his Langtang Trek would have ended at Sundarijal. But when nature is an obstacle what else can be done?
