Explore Himalaya Participated in Ferien-Messe Wien

Explore Himalaya participated in Ferien-Messe Wien/Holiday Fair Vienna, the largest holiday and travel show in Austria from 10 to 13 January 2019. Considered as one of the leading Travel Fairs in Europe being organized for 43 years, this year’s fair had altogether 800 exhibitors from more than 80 countries. The Fair was visited by 155,322 visitors (an increase of 1.4% on the previous year), so far the highest number in the history of the Event. This year’s partner country and partner region of Ferien-Messe Wien were Indonesia and Burgenland respectively.

The four days’ Fair was considered as an eventful show where the exhibitors presented their countries’ holiday regions along with their natural, cultural and historical uniqueness. The exhibitors got the opportunity to share a huge information platform with the travel communities from different parts of Europe. Anuj Pandey, the General Manager of Explore Himalaya, who represented the Company said, “We, as an exhibitor (stand no. A 0125), benefited immensely from the Event. Beside building up a wide contact base of our potential partners and customers, we were also successful in promoting Nepal as a rewarding destination.” Nepal Tourism Board also took part in the Event for the first time.

The Event was deemed very successful as 88.8 percent of the total visitors said they had benefited from the visit, 92.2 percent rated the fair offer as complete and almost all of them recommended the trade fair. The Fair ended with the announcement of Dominican Republic being the partner country for Ferien-Messe Wien 2020. 

Destination Nepal gets overwhelming response during Travel Fair in Singapore

During the travel fair organized by National Association of Travel Agents Singapore (NATAS), Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) enjoyed overwhelming gestures from scores of Singaporeans and other international visitors. During the largest tourism consumer fair in Singapore, the stall of Nepal manifested the theme that represented nature, culture and adventure of the country.

During the Press Meet the representative of NTB said, “People coming to the stall were very inquisitive about Nepal, and Singaporeans were happy to know that post-earthquake Nepal was already welcoming tourists”.

He added the visitors appreciated the effort of Nepalese on making quick recovery and were glad to know that the monuments that fell apart during the quake are being rebuilt rapidly.

The prominent online and print Medias of Singapore covered Nepal remarkably. The direct air connection between two countries with Silk Air and increasing other Airlines that connect Nepal to Asia Pacific Region directly, Nepal becomes the preferable travel destination for Singaporeans and the people of Asia Pacific Region. Hence, this tourism fair that had larger exposure and grander media coverage in Singapore and Asia Pacific Region generates the possibility of potential travelers to Nepal.

Present throughout the event Honorary Consul General in Singapore Madhusudan M Patel and NTB Honorary Representative in Singapore Narayan Bahadur Shrestha answered queries of visitors coming to the Nepalese stall.

 

Explore Himalaya participates “Incredible India Travel Bazaar 2014”

IITB Fair, Incredible India Travel Bazaar 2014 was recently organized on April 8 and 9, in New Delhi. The venue for the major travel trade fair in India was The Ashok Hotel. While participating the fair Explore Himalaya Travel and Adventure and its sister organization in India, Kipling India Travels promoted their travel products. Also, the (B2B) Business to Business Sessions conducted on both days, Explore Himalaya and Kipling India had meetings with 40 agents, 20 per day. Participants at the fair from Explore Himalaya were, President of the company Mr. Suman Pandey and Sales Assistant of the company Mr. Prachanda Shivakotee whereas, Mr. Prakash Subba and Mr. Sanjay Pant  represented Kipling Travels India.

The mega Travel Bazaar was jointly organized by the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, India Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) and Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI). The Travel Bazaar with 216 booths was attended by 250 buyers from 55 nations.
