Greetings & a warm welcome to the 74 strong Russian team from MTC, Russia

Explore Himalaya’s team extends a warm welcome to the 74 strong team from MTC, Russia who arrived today in Kathmandu for a team building session cum trekking expedition. Explore Himalaya is managing the group’s visit. The team will be visiting Nagarkot and later on will trek through the virgin trails of Sindhupalchowk. The descent to The Last Resort, Kodari will be the finale of the trek. EH wishes all the members a grand and memorable trip.

NTY 2011 promoted at Russian Tourism Exhibition

NTB along with three private Nepalese travel companies participated at  the 18th Moscow International Travel & Tourism Exhibition (MITT) held in Moscow’s Expocentr’ Krasnaya Presnya Fairgrounds,  from March 16-19, 2011. Detailed information of tour packages to Nepal focusing NTY-2011 was provided to the visitors as well as to the buyers. MITT is the largest travel and tourism exhibition in Russia showcasing over 3,000 companies from 120 countries and regions.

Everest Women 7 Summits Eco-Action to scale Mt.Elbrus

Everest Women 7 Summits Eco-Action (EW7SEA), an all-women team from Nepal who are on a mission to climb the world’s seven summits, scaled Australia’s highest peak  Mt Kosciuszko (2,228m)  on 7th July  2010. Now the team is all set to climb Mt Elbrus (5,642 m) in Russia, from August 23rd, 2010.Mt Elbrus is the tallest peak in Europe . Through their endeavors, the team plans on spreading awareness on global warming. If the team is successful in climbing all the seven highest  peaks on the seven continents , they will be the largest team to achieve this feat.
