The titanic group of enthusiastic riders comprising 15 Australians and a Russian arrived at Friendship Bridge, Nepal China Border on 19 May, 2012. They had completed their Overland Tour of Tibet and had plans to explore around Nepal. During their 3 days exploration in Nepal, they had cultural sightseeing tour in Kathmandu valley and a mountain flight.
Their cultural sightseeing tour in the Nepalese capital included visits to Pashupatinath, Boudhanath, Swayambhunath, Kumari Temple and Kathmandu Durbar Square. The sightseeing tour in Kathmandu means visiting to numerous temples, monasteries and palaces where visitors encounter with uncountable ancient inventive in the forms idols, paintings, carvings and statues.
The visitors had one more opportunity for the closer encounter with the great Himalayas. They went on a Mountain Flight to the Everest region. The aerial views of the snow land and deep gorges with the rare visibility of human settlement provided the feast to their eyes. Mountain flight in Nepal is very short, yet a perfect trip to go around the top of the world.
After, the sightseeing tour and the mountain flight a walk around Thamel worthed a shot. The visitors tour Thamel on their own and gave themselves a space to enjoy the last moments of their long vacation in Tibet and Nepal.
On 22 May 2012, their most incredible vacation at Tibet and Nepal ended. The visitors made Explore Himalaya stand tall with their thankful expressions and sentences just before their departure.
