A short trek from Lukla to Tengboche.

Two Americans Mr. Jared Paul Allen and Mr. Aaron Paul Heward arrived Kathmandu on September 12, 2012. After the couple of days of sightseeing in Kathmandu, on September 14 they flew to Lukla 2800m.  Lukla is the major place for the trekkers in Nepal. The home of Sherpas; Lukla is the starting point of trekking routes to the Everest Base Camp and other Mountain peaks and passes in the Khumbu region.The same day their trekking began as they trekked to Phakding 2610m. On the Day 4 of their expedition Jared and Aaron took themselves to Namche 3450m. Namche Bazaar is popular with trekkers in the Khumbu region, especially for altitude acclimatization, and is the gateway to the high Himalaya. On September 16 the trekking team including Jared and Aaron trekked to Tengboche 3864m. Tengboche Monastery is the largest Gompa in the Khumbu region. The next day the trekking route led them down to Chumoa 2820m. Their final day of the trekking in the Khumbu region was to make the way back to Lukla. On September 19 the Americans flew back to Kathmandu for the free day to explore around Thamel on own. Mr. Jared and Aaron after enjoying their vacation in the beautiful Himalayas for five days they departed Kathmandu on September 20, 2012.
