Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) has appointed Khagendra Thapa Magar, the shortest teen in the world, as NTY 2011’s Goodwill Ambassador.
Khagendra, who hails from Baglung district, and is 22 inches/56cms tall is all set to take the title of the ‘World’s Shortest Man’ once he reaches the age of eighteen on October 14th 2010.
He as well as Miss Nepal Sadiccha Shrestha will be promoting NTY 2011 at NTB’s major press conferences and promotional campaigns in different parts of the world.According to Prachanda Man Shrestha, NTB’s CEO, their first major participation will be at World Travel Mart, London, this November.
