Entrance to BP Koirala Memorial Cancer Hospital (a semi government hospital)-within its premises the sensitive, Hospice and Palliative Care Unit has been operating its functions of controlling the pain to different kinds of Cancer patients since 2004 AD.

Likewise, Hospice and Palliative Care Unit within BP Koirala Memorial Cancer Hospital in Bharatpur was our recent concern so that we can contribute to this sector in the community through the travelers from our UK Agent Different Travel in 2015.

Hospice and Palliative Care Unit at BP Koirala Memorial Hospital is basically a pain controller unit dedicated to the cancer patients of all stages. Patients suffering enormous pain after chemotherapy, radiotherapy or surgical therapy are admitted to this unit of the hospital. However, major of the patients admitted in the unit are terminally ill with incurable stage of cancer-bound to die in the very near future.

Hospice and Palliative Care Unit at BPKMCH has been partially supported by Victoria Hospice with trainings. Hospice not only reliefs the pain of patients, it also supports the relatives of the patients during the bereavement.

Hospitals are one of the places people would prefer to skip and the palliative care units are even more sensitive.  Cancer these days has become a common disease which is one of the incurable diseases recognized by World Health Organization (WHO). People suffering with incurable diseases need places like hospice to get relief from the intolerable pain. They need comfort during the final moments of their lives.
