GHT-Great Himalayan Trial promoted in Australia.

Artistically designed Nepal stand and the team of perfect exhibitionists to efficiently exhibit Nepal as the preferred adventurous destination to spend the holiday among the likely Australian visitors made Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) a winner, in the “Best Exhibit” category in the Adventure Travel Expo held in Melbourne from February 23 to 24.

Sushil Ghimire, NTB Chairman and the secretary at Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation urged the key Non Resident Nepalese in Melbourne to play a significant role in promoting Nepal as a tourist destination. During the discussion he also expressed that for the joint promotion of tourism in Nepal the government of Nepal and NTB will support and cooperate with them with the whole hearts.

The major highlight of NTB during the expo was the Great Himalayan Trial (GHT). Traversing from the East (Taplejung) to the West (Darchula) along the Himalayan trials of Nepal, GHT covers the total distance of 1,700km. GHT is the exclusively new tourism product of Nepal. The longest high altitude trekking trial in the world covers all the Himalayan regions of Nepal. The total number of days of trekking on GHT is 150 days.
