Spanish mountaineer Edurne Pasaban reached the summit of Tibetan peak Shishapangma(8027m) on May 17th, 2010 thus completing her ascent up the world’s 14 eight thousanders. With this victory, Edurne Pasaban became the second woman in the world to complete this feat.
South Korean Oh Eun-Sun clinched the first place when she reached the summit of Mt Annapurna on April 27, this year.
