Poonhill Ghorepani Trek- Beautiful moments in the mountain villages

Poonhill, the most frequented trekking destination in the Annapurna region offers to experience wide diversity of cultural, natural, floral and faunal aspects of Nepal. Ms. Monica’s and Mr. Andrea’s from Italy experience were similar to the many other trekkers to the region with Explore Himalaya. They had few things to say about their trip to Nepal before their departure back.

Moment on the trek from Ghorepani to Poonhill, the time we spent in the beautiful mountain villages and the sightseeing tours to heritage sites in Kathmandu are all good memories of our trip.

The service of Explore Himalaya was perfect. Hotels were great. Our Trek Guide,  Shyam was very friendly and he gave us opportunity to know the Nepalese culture very well. Driver was really very good and other staffs of the company were excellent.

We are planning one more holiday in Nepal next year. Undoubtedly, we would prefer Explore Himalaya arranging it for us. Also we would prefer Shyam as our guide again.

One simple way to celebrate mix vacation in Nepal.

Last spring six Danish visitors through our special country partner Kipling Travel had eleven days tour with Explore Himalaya from March 29 to April 8, 2012. Their trip included sightseeing tours of Kathmandu and Nuwakot, trek to Samari, Tharpu Bhanjyang and Sele Gompa and white water rafting at Trishuli.

Before proceeding beyond Kathmandu valley for the trek followed by rafting, the lineup enjoyed the cultural sightseeing tour in Kathmandu for three days on their own. The three cities Kathmandu, Patan and Bhaktapur within the valley are like a feast of cultural and historical displays. The carnival valley enjoys its most of the times with glorified traditional festivals.

Beyond the valley, Nepal unfolds its natural treasures. The glorious Himalayas, pure rivers, beautiful breezy valleys and dense wildlife reserves and parks provides an incomparable wonders to the eyes. The lineup left one behind whereas, five of them had the hilarious trek along the pleasant spring forests to Nuwakot, Samari , Tharpu Bhanjyang and Sele . They also enjoyed the thrilling rafting at the fierce Himalayan River Trishuli.

After the joyful moments of Nepal trip, all six members of the Danish team once again were together at Thamel Eco Resort, Kathmandu. They were busy sharing their best moments of the trip to each other.

On the departure day 2 of them decided to explore more in Nepal. The rest of them headed back home with the memories of celebrated vacation in Nepal.
