Tour and Sightseeing
It’s a panoramic thrill flying into Kathmandu on a clear day. The views of snow-capped mountain peaks sprawling down below you are almost ecstatic, beginning a whole chain of memorable experiences that stay with you for a long, long time. And as your plane lands at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, our waiting support team will meet and greet you at the arrivals and escort you to your hotel.
We begin our sightseeing tour with a visit to Boudhanath - the largest stupa in Nepal and a center of Tibetan culture in Kathmandu. The stupa is designed like a giant mandala (a representation of a Buddhist cosmos). Our next destination is Pashupatinath Temple, which is dedicated to Hindu deity Lord Shiva and is regarded as the most sacred Hindu shrine in Nepal. Here you can witness cremation ritual of Hindus at ‘Aryaghat’, the cremation area of the temple. Then you head to Patan which lies 5 km away from Kathmandu Valley on the South-East. Patan is one of the three medieval cities in Kathmandu and a destination for connoisseurs of fine arts. We take a tour of the Patan Durbar Square - a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Located in the square is the Patan Museum (originally a Malla palace), Krishna Mandir- a stone temple of Lord Krishna with its 21 spires and bas-relief art depicting scenes from the Mahabharata and Ramayana epics, Royal Bath or 'Tushahity' and surrounding Hindu and Buddhist temples.
It takes around 25 minutes to fly from Pokhara to Kathmandu. While flying to Pokhara, you can enjoy the fantastic views of shimmering mountain ranges and spectacular landscapes below you. On reaching Pokhara, you will be escorted to best resorts or hotels of your choice. Pokhara will have you mesmerized with its majestic sight of snow-capped mountain peaks and exquisite beauty. You will visit the popular landmarks of Pokhara like Devis waterfall, Seti gorge, Bindabasini temple, Guptseshowor Cave etc.
After basking in the exotic boating experience on Phewa Lake, you will drive to Terai lowland of Chitwan. As you descend towards the lowland, lush grasslands and spectacular sight of dense jungle unfold before you. After driving for about 4/5 hrs in the winding highway of Nepal, you will reach Chitwan.
Chitwan National Park offers a unique and exceptional wildlife experience, being the home to several species, in particular, the one-horned rhinoceros, Royal Bengal Tiger, leopard, bear, wild boar, deer, bison, crocodiles etc. Unlike African animals, those in Chitwan tend to be rather solitary and shy, but the chancing of sightseeing these are very high owing to the expertise and experiences of guides. Wildlife safari, canoeing and bird watching in the majestic jungles of Chitwan National Park fill you with sheer pleasure.
In your jungle safari, you may encounter rare endangered species like one-horned rhinoceros and Bengal tiger. Canoeing through the river gives you sheer pleasure to witness crocodiles and other aquatic species in their natural habitats. You can have the most thrilling and exciting wildlife experience of your lifetime. After this wildlife experience, you are escorted to Bharatpur to catch a flight to Kathmandu.
Our driver and airport representative drive you to the airport in time for your flight back home. We ensure that you leave Kathmandu with cherishing memory and an experience of a lifetime.
