A Dutch lady, Paulina Wannee Joice was our guest this year. We were there at the arrival terminal of the TIA to welcome her on October 27. On the 28th and 29th we escorted her on the sightseeing tour of Kathmandu and the heritage sites within the city. She was fascinated to be at the two sacred Buddhist pilgrimages; Swayambhunath and Boudhanath.
Boudhanath.
She appreciated the ancient Hindu pilgrimage Pashupatinath. She probably had one of the most exciting evenings at the Kathmandu Durbar Square. On October 30, she traveled 200 km west to Pokhara. On her arrival at Pokhara, Explore Himalaya had arranged the peaceful boating program for her at Fewa Lake.
Swayambhunath.
After, the long journey and the boating refreshment she settled a night at Fishtail Lodge; a lodge surrounded by Lake from all sides. Next day, she had the sightseeing tour around Pokhara. November 1, she took the flight to Kathmandu from Pokhara. Early morning, on the 2nd she was escorted to the TIA.
