Kanchenjunga Conservation Area – Named after Mount Kanchenjunga, the world’s third-highest mountain at 8,586 meters (28,169 feet), the Kanchenjunga Conservation Area is teeming with biodiversity and is home to endangered and rare species like the Himalayan tahr, snow leopard, and red panda. Its forests, meadows, and high-altitude scenery offer a great chance to investigate a variety of ecosystems, ranging from alpine to subtropical regions.

Numerous indigenous groups, such as the Rai and Limbu people, call the area home, and their distinctive customs and culture contribute to its appeal.

Kanchenjunga Massif – The Kanchenjunga massif is a stunning cluster of peaks, with Kanchenjunga Main reaching an impressive height of 8,586 meters. This makes it the tallest peak in the massif and the third highest in the world. The massif is famous for its five major summits: three are located along the Nepal-India border, while two are in Nepal’s Taplejung district.
