Everest and Annapurna Base Camps Trek.

Towards EBC.

Four Americans Ryan, Michelle, Kimberly and Jesse made the plan to trek to Everest Base Camp and then to Annapurna Base Camp. As, Explore Himalaya was on the mark, an Aussie lady Yin Jiang stepped in. She wanted to trek to EBC. Now the group size increased to five. The five trekkers along with their guide, porters and cook set off for their expedition on October 16.

Their trip came to a halt for a day at the ascent of Gokyo Ri 5483m on October 23. They trekked four days more to reach the desired destination of Everest Base Camp on October 27. After the trek to EBC was accomplished the Americans had the one more exciting mountain trek in their bags. However, Yin departed Nepal with the wonderful memories of the EBC trek on November 1.

Our American guests were enjoying the rest days in Kathmandu just after the EBC trek or say just before the Annapurna Base Camp trek. One more time a French lady Eva wished to join the Americans on the trek. As per itinerary, once again the group of five flew to Pokhara on November 5. Right away, their trek began. On November 10, the group of enthusiastic trekkers was at Machhapuchhre Base Camp 3700m.

Rocks….Ice and Fun.

Machhapuchhre Base Camp; the door to the closest view of charismatic Fishtail, no doubt kept their mouths wide open on the very first glimpse. Their trek made the progress to Annapurna South Base Camp on November 11. Ryan, Michelle, Kimberly and Jesse probably felt proud enough to witness the Base Camp of two different mega mountains in a single visit. Eva was so much grateful to Americans and Explore Himalaya for letting her join the exceptionally helpful group. The team trekked down to Nayapul on November 16 and then was driven to Pokhara.
