Two Danish, Mr. Johansen Bennie Granger and Ms. Simonsen Lisa had the plans for the gap trek to Samari and Poonhill this year. Their 25 days excursion in the different parts of Nepal probably was worthy enough to witness the diverse Nepal. After,  the sightseeing around hustles and bustles but culturally and historically rich Kathmandu valley,10 kilometers away from the city they encountered the contrast with ancient Newari lifestyles at Khokhana and Bungmati.

Their journey continued to Samari and Nuwakot, a newly discovered places especially popular for hiking, sightseeing, home-stays and to the get know how with Tamang culture. The next destination was a hilltop village Bandipur, popular for the mountain views of the Annapurana region. After, the two days relaxation at Bandipur Mr. Johansen and Ms. Simonsen made their ways towards Pokhara. Pokahara is the city popular for its natural beauty and  sightseeing and it is also the major city from where the treks to the Annapurna regions begin.

On October 27, their gap trek begins to Ulleri. They passed Ghorepani, Deurali, Poonhill Tadapani, Ghandruk, Chhomrong, Landruk and finally reached Dhampus on November 1. Their trek along the trial was full with cultural diversity of different ethnics; however, the feast to the eyes provided by the mountain views of the great Fishtail and the other Himalayas of the Annapurna region on the way stunned them.

November 3, they were escorted to Tansen, a small historical town in the West. That night the enjoyed the magnificent views from the Srinagar, a hilltop overlooking Tansen. Next day they went further west towards Bardia. At Bardia National Park, they enjoyed the hospitality at Racy Shade Resort, a resort within the jungle with Racy shade activities. Racy shade activities include birding, jungle raft and the wild life safari on elephants.

November 7, after couple of days stay at the comforts of Racy Shade they flew back to Kathmandu from Nepaljung Airport. Next day, they preferred the visit to Bhaktapur before their departure on November 9.
