Mr. Pedersen Karsten and Ms. Overgaard Lane from Denmark through our exclusive country partner Kipling Travel were with us this spring from March 7, 2013 to April 9, 2013 for their long awaited trek to the most popular trekking destination of Nepal- Around Annapurna Trek.
Admired by the trekking aficionados from Denmark, this route enclosed whole Annapurna massif and gave them a life time chance to witness the sights of Annapurna’s from different positions. Besides the magnetic settings of the mountains, the diverse landscapes from low alpine woodlands to bone-dry deserts akin to Tibetan ones, the wealthy cultures and traditions, historic monasteries and genuine villages enticed the Danish trekkers to the region. The trek kicked off from Besisahar (760m) and then entered the entryway to restricted area Narphu valley- Manang, and then gradually soared up towards the world’s biggest pass, Thorang La (5416m) and then finally plummeted down to the holy temple of Muktinath. Then the trial slided down the valley of apple orchard- Jomsom. The trek completed the whole circuit via Ghorepani to Tatopani, which presented the myriad natural hot springs and then to celebrated viewpoint of Poon Hill finally ending at naturally blessed city Pokhara.
Post Around Annapurna Trek, the Danish visitors also had the experiences of wildlife safari at Chitwan National Park, cultural encounter at Kathmandu, Bungmati and Khokana and the hiked to mid-hills of Samari before departing back home on April 9, 2013.
