Villagers in Syangja, in mid-west Nepal, who are well versed in commercial agricultural production have decided to introduce agro tourism in their villages. Jagat Bhanjyang, Sirsekot, Majhkot and Jagatradevi villages are ready to welcome foreign tourists as well as domestic visitors to experience village life.The visitors will get to experience first hand, farming mehods used by the farmers.The villagers have introduced ‘ home-stay’ schemes where every household can accomodate upto five visitors. A member from each household in the villages , have been receiving training in kitchen and home-stay management.
